Fall Patchwork Quilt Style Plush Blanket – Hedgehog Scarecrow Pumpkin Mushroom Cottagecore Autumn Throw for Baby Kids and Home Decor

A hedgehog in one square. A scarecrow in the next. A pumpkin in its patch. Mushrooms in the corner where mushrooms have always belonged. All of it stitched together in faux patchwork quilt style on the softest, most autumnal blanket the season has produced so far.

The Fall Faux Patchwork Quilt Plush Blanket brings the warmth, the color, and the handmade charm of a classic patchwork quilt into a velveteen plush surface so soft it makes the original concept genuinely difficult to improve upon — a colorful cabin-style grid of illustrated fall motifs in a warm autumnal palette of rust, gold, sage, cream, and brown, printed on a plush so deeply soft that wrapping up in it on the first properly cold morning of the season is the most satisfying thing that will happen that entire day. The faux patchwork design gives this blanket the visual character of something handmade and heirloom-quality while the velveteen plush gives it the kind of softness that an actual quilt simply cannot match on its best day.

The hedgehog is the cottagecore soul of this blanket — small, round, quietly charming, and exactly the kind of creature that belongs in an autumn design that takes the season seriously rather than commercially. The scarecrow brings the harvest field energy, the guardian of the pumpkin patch standing in his panel with the gentle, slightly whimsical quality of a fall decoration that has graduated from the front porch into the design. The pumpkin is the season's most essential icon given its own square of the quilt and the visual weight it deserves. The mushrooms bring the forager's autumn, the forest floor, the specific magic of finding something beautiful growing in the leaf litter of an October walk.

Three sizes make this blanket the most versatile seasonal gift in the entire Foxgloves and Firs fall collection — the 30x40 for the baby who deserves the most beautiful first autumn blanket anyone has ever seen and who will be photographed in it extensively between now and spring, the 50x60 for the child whose reading nook or bedroom or couch spot needs a fall blanket that looks genuinely designed and not just holiday-adjacent, and the 60x80 for the adult guest room, the queen bed accent, or the person whose couch blanket situation has needed an autumnal upgrade since approximately the first day of September.

The colorful cabin aesthetic makes this blanket genuinely at home in any fall-decorated space — the kind of blanket that looks intentional draped over the arm of a chair, folded at the end of a bed, or spread over a lap on the porch on the first properly sweater-weather evening of the year. The cottagecore sensibility runs through every design choice, from the hedgehog to the mushrooms to the faux quilt stitching that ties the whole composition together with the warmth of something made by hand in the best possible tradition.

Double needle topstitch seams, machine wash cold, tumble dry low, printed and shipped in the US. Please note this blanket may arrive up to 3 inches shorter than listed due to the nature of the plush fabric production process.

A genuinely perfect autumn gift for the new baby's first fall, the child who loves hedgehogs and pumpkins in equal measure, the cottagecore home decorator, the cabin aesthetic devotee, the guest room that needs a seasonal refresh, the couch that has been waiting for exactly this blanket, or any person whose autumn is defined by soft things and warm colors and the specific magic of a season that makes staying inside feel like the best possible choice. From Foxgloves and Firs — where fall arrives in faux patchwork on the softest blanket the season has to offer.
